The former CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch has been arrested and charged with trafficking male models for sex parties globally, according to U.S.
prosecutors. Mike Jeffries, along with his partner Matthew Smith and associate James Jacobson, allegedly used a “casting couch” method to groom aspiring male models to attend these events, where victims were provided with alcohol and drugs.
The gatherings took place at their homes in the U.S. and at locations in the UK, France, Italy, and Morocco, where some men were reportedly given Viagra and muscle relaxants.
Prosecutors noted that while 15 anonymous victims were named in the charges, the actual number of victims is likely much higher and urged others to come forward.
