It deeply troubles and saddens me to witness the denial of the Igbo presidency, particularly based on their efforts to pursue independence from Nigeria. Such reasoning strikes me as profoundly nonsensical and unjust.
The truth is that every region within Nigeria, at various points in our history, has harbored thoughts of secession or expressed desires for greater autonomy.
