- The Video: The viral footage, which surfaced on Friday, October 17, 2025, reportedly shows policemen in Owerri, the Imo State capital, shooting into the air, chanting, and interacting with individuals believed to be members of the Vikings cult group.
- Cult Insignia: The accompanying social media post alleged that the officers were “boldly wearing Vikings (DNKI) berets and caps,” thereby publicly disgracing the Nigerian Police Force and raising severe questions about the integrity and neutrality of law enforcement in the state.
